Occupational therapy is focused on helping you achieve your self-care, school, work, play, and leisure goals. We work with you to find the best way possible to help with adapting to the physical, cognitive, and mental/emotional issues that you are dealing with on a daily basis. We do this by addressing things such as motor coordination, strength, range of motion, adaptive equipment, adaptive techniques, attention/focus, feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
A home assessment is an evaluation focused on finding the safest, easiest, and best way to allow you, no matter your age or disability, to continue living in your home despite the environmental barriers. During your home assessment, we will discuss any safety issues, equipment needs, and/or modifications needed for you and your home.
